Dockland 5 – Marina

Conveniently located at Dockland 5 on the vibrant Hatea River we have a 28 berth a marina with berths for short and long term hire, as well as a few still for sale.

  • 28 Berths (16 – 20m & catamarans)
  • Water and shore power included in daily rate
  • Full Guest Facilities – showers, toilets, kitchen, laundry and bbq area
  • Car Hire – Nissan Leaf electric car, available for short trips to top up supplies etc
  • Secure car parking, secure facility, night security patrols
  • D5 Café – open 6.30am to 2.30pm conveniently located entrance to our facility

Marina Contract Acceptance Form

  1. Payment is required prior to departure
  2. Contract must be signed at arrival or prior top arrival
  3. All owners or agents who sign this form shall have been deemed to have read the general terms and conditions
  4. All work carried out on boats in the marina must have approval from management prior to commencement
  5. All sub traders to be approved prior to the commencement of any work
  6. Machinery and/or hand tools belonging to Dockland 5 Marine Ltd are not available to yard clients

No discharge of grey/black water or discharge of holding tanks during berthage.
No contaminants are allowed to be discharged into the water.
NO EXCEPTIONS
Northern Regional Council Minimum Fine $1000.00

Marina Berthage Checklist

Prior to or upon arrival

  • Marina contract signed (insurance, electrical certification and T.I.E. supplied)
  • Permission with arrival date and parking instructions
  • Vessel has self/contained septic system with a holding tank that has been emptied and/or a septic treatment system
  • Fenders and mooring lines at the ready
  • Ring ahead if assistance is needed upon arrival

During your stay

  • No discharge of wastes (e.g. sewage, oil, contaminated bilge water)
  • Septic holding tank seacock locked in the “off” position and sealed with provided zip-lock
  • No maintenance work to be carried out without approval from marina management or that could result in contaminants entering the water
  • Keep the marina pontoons clear of equipment
  • For refuelling or crane hire contact the office
  • All external cleaning products must be biosafe and environmentally friendly
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY; Enjoy your stay
